What came first? The rake or the hoe? Leave that for the scientists to figure out, because the 55HR is both! A rake/hoe head provides a versatile tool, adept at raking medium-sized trail debris, hoeing your next ditch, or tamping down that shiny new dirt jump lip.
- Ideal for raking trail debris, shaping, cutting tread
- 5.5” cutting head, 4 tine rake
- Hardened steel blade from repurposed agriculture discs (eco-friendly!)
- Heavy duty ash handle
- Made in the USA
- 5.5 lbs
The smaller head and rake of the 55HRH is key for cutting into harder soil and breaking up roots. The shorter curved handle (hickory...and the second H in the HRH name) is fantastic when you're having to spend a significant time throwing more horsepower behind the tool. In short, this handle rocks when you're swinging as opposed to mainly pulling/raking and it still serves well enough for less barbaric modes of use.
The ProHoe is ideal for a long hike or ride into the trail for routine trail maintenance. With the ProHoe you only need one tool to accomplish so much.
