The Blaze from Backslope Tools takes the Blaze silhouette and makes it smaller. The Blaze is the lightweight tool that performs well while doing back sloping work and finishing work in the field. It features a lightweight profile that makes it the perfect tool for volunteer work days when less swinging and trail cutting will be done.

And for the kids who love to get out there on volunteer days as well, the Blaze has the option to come with a 36" handle, so they have a tool their size as well. (Caution, our tools are still sharp!)

For those who love the Clyde Mini, you'll love the Blaze on the 24" handle. Our 24" Blaze comes with the same removable clevis pin for easy on the go storage. Put it together, and this tool works great for drainage clearings and rock work.

Stay organized with wider spacing in-between tines for easy stacking of multiple tools. And, never worry about your tools disappearing from your truck or a remote job site with eyelets compatible with a standard cable lock.

Blaze

This great little tool fits in my pack along with the short handled loppers and a Grampa’s Weeder that I cut down. My trail work, right now, has more to do with clearing overgrown trails and kicking rocks into alignment than shaping back slopes. This kit will be good to take to the bench cut trails in the foothills above us. The Blaze has a nice head heavy swing and a perfect snug fit to the handle. Well done!

Welcome upgrade from first generation. Burlier, higher collar, blade comes sharpened. We love this tool! Indispensable on trail dig days!

I really can’t say anything about the Junior Blaze. I bought it for a Christmas gift.
