When loaded with the saw, fuel, oil, chaps, etc the shoulder straps were a little deficient in padding. My shoulders were uncomfortable about about 1 hour of carrying the pack. I do like the way the pack loads the saw. Seems odd there is no dedicated pocket to carry fuel and first aid kit.

Nice, beefy pack. Generally well designed and constructed. Good for hauling tools and a saw. Wish it was a bit higher-capacity (maybe 35L?) to carry more gear, food, and water. Also would be nice if it had more of an internal frame, as it can carry more weight than it can comfortably support. And the final niggle is that it’s very hot against the back, especially for use in the desert SW. Overall a great pack for it’s intended purpose, and one of the only trail building-specific packs on the market.
