Backslope Tools Clyde Jr

$69.00

Available for backorder. Expected Date of Availability 4/1/2025

The Clyde Junior from Backslope Tools takes the Clyde silhouette and makes it smaller. The Clyde Junior features the same silhouette as the Mini, but on a longer handle. It features a lightweight profile that makes it the perfect tool for volunteer work days when less swinging and trail cutting will be done.

And for the kids who love to get out there on volunteer days as well, the Junior has the option to come with a 42" handle, so they have a tool their size as well. (Caution, our tools are still sharp!)

Stay organized with wider spacing in-between tines for easy stacking of multiple tools. And, never worry about your tools disappearing from your truck or a remote job site with eyelets compatible with a standard cable lock.

Clyde Jr - The Tool To Carry When You Don't Want To Carry Tools

The Clyde Jr would be a welcome addition to any day of trail work, but where it really shines is on those other days. Maybe you're riding a trail after a recent rain and want to take a few minutes to clean up the ruts, or you're out walking your dogs and need to reshape the lips on a jump line. The 24" handle and optional cover make Clyde Jr pack portable, and the quick-release handle lets you easily swap on a longer handle when desired.

Super solid super versatile!

These tools are super heavy duty and are amazingly maintainable… I was a handyman for years and would frequently get hired for landscaping jobs as one of my gigs. The Clyde and the Clyde Junior are amazing for working mulch in around gardens. The buckets are also a hard thing to express just how “handy“ they are.

Fantastic!!

I've been using this for over a year now on a trail system behind my house. The trails are not maintained by any organization just local bikers fixing thing as they go. I take it with me on some rides when I plan to do some maintenance.
The weight is perfect and the solid edge is very sharp. Makes quick work or small roots and packed dirt. Great for small modifications or as a finishing tool with a pickaxe. I've even used it in the winter to breakup icy sections.
I wish they would sell just the different heads that you could swap out with the handle.
